Text messaging (SMS)

Texas Light Crew sends text messages only to customers who choose to receive them. Our texts are sent from our business phone numbers, (979) 436-4278 and (512) 240-9890, through our phone provider, RingCentral, and through Jobber, the software we use for quotes, scheduling and invoicing.

How you opt in. You agree to receive texts from Texas Light Crew when you check the optional SMS consent box on our online quote request form, when you text one of our business numbers, or when you tell our team by phone that you would like text updates. Consent to receive texts is never required to request a quote or buy our services.

What we collect and how we use it. We collect your mobile number, your consent to receive texts, and the messages you send us. We use this information only to reply to you and to send updates about your quote, scheduling, installation, service, invoices and takedown. It is stored with your customer record.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Texas Light Crew does not sell, rent, release or trade the personal or mobile information of our customers. We share your number only with the service providers that deliver our messages (RingCentral and Jobber), and only so they can send and receive texts on our behalf.

Message frequency varies based on your project and requests. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any text at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed to provide our services. These include Jobber (quotes, scheduling, invoicing, and messaging), RingCentral (business phone calls and text messaging), payment processors, and our website hosting provider. These providers may not use your information for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it to serve you.

  • Email: contact us to stop receiving non-essential emails.
